Slab clamp crane
Clamp crane is special equipment for handling slabs, especially high-temperature slabs. It is mainly used for continuous casting to transport high-temperature slabs across the production line to the slab warehouse, heating furnace or to transfer normal temperature slabs in the finished product warehouse, stacking, loading and unloading vehicles. Slabs or blooms with thickness of 150mm or more can be lifted. The temperature of the high-temperature slab can be above 650°C.
Clamp crane can also be used in indoor or outdoor fixed spans such as steel mills, shipyards, ports, storage yards and warehouse, for loading and unloading steel slabs, profiles and other materials. It is especially suitable for lifting slabs of different specifications. It can be equipped with different clamps to meet the lifting requirements according to the specifications (thickness, length, number of sheets and weight) of the material to be lifted.
